We had a great time at Monday Sewing, and I'm improving at accomplishing something while we visit!
How am I doing on completing the samples that I need to have in my suitcase by 1 p.m.? The binding was put on the small machine-embroidered (quilted) quilt.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and some time to relax this past week once the festivities were over. I have managed to do a bit of knitting this week as well as some un-sewing (more on that later in this post!). read moreChristine and I left early for our quilting retreat with the Oxford Guild this past Friday because there was a winter storm coming and we wanted to get there and be set up before the snow started to fall. The snow started in the afternoon and kept going all night. In the morning there was almost a foot of snow (30cm for the metric folks). We were all snowed in and loving it.
